Plan the route before packing
Walk the path from your unit to the vehicle. Note stairs, elevator reservation rules, gate access, loading zones and the distance from parking to the door. These constraints can matter more than the size of the apartment.
Keep dense totes lighter
Books, dishes and pantry items become heavy well before a 27-gallon tote is full. Mix dense items with lighter goods or use smaller loads that remain under the equipment limits and comfortable to control.
Label for the destination room
Use removable labels for the room where the tote should end up, not just the room it came from. That reduces re-sorting when the new floor plan is different.
Protect elevator and hallway timing
If a building requires a reserved elevator or move window, include that in your request. A narrow delivery appointment may need special confirmation rather than being assumed.
Need totes for this kind of move?
Use the availability request to send your dates, quantity and both addresses. The business confirms inventory and route eligibility before the reservation is final.
