Information submitted
The booking form collects your name, phone number, email address, preferred dates, delivery and collection addresses, access details, package choice, referral source and notes you choose to provide.
How it is used
Submitted information is used to review inventory, route eligibility, pricing, reservation details, service communications, support, recordkeeping and legal obligations related to a rental.
Service communications
Phone, text and email may be used for availability, arrival coordination, collection reminders, payment notices, safety information or support connected to your request or rental. Unrelated marketing should use separate consent where required.
How your information is stored
Reservations, signed agreements, chat messages and driver photos are stored privately on our hosting provider (Netlify) and are only visible to Totes & Move staff who sign in. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Booking emails are sent through our email provider.
Chat
The chat bubble answers common questions automatically. If you choose “Message Patrick”, we keep your name, email and the conversation so we can reply, and we email you when there is a reply.
Website analytics
We count visits ourselves to see which pages are useful and which ads or links bring people to the site. This uses an anonymous random ID stored in your browser (no cookies, no third-party tracking scripts, no advertising profiles). It records the page, the referring website or campaign tag, the time and whether you're on a phone or computer. It does not record your name or IP address.
Data minimization
Please don't put highly sensitive information in the notes field. We don't ask for household inventories or interior photos.
